About Us

Our Trust is dedicated to making life better for those experiencing mental ill health and their families. As well as providing the very best care and treatments, in-patient services and community support systems possible, we’re also committed to providing information and support to people of all ages so they can maintain better mental wellbeing. We also enthusiastically support the Time to Change campaign to stamp out mental health stigma and discrimination for good.

We have over 2,000 employees working across 113 teams from 78 sites serving a population of over 1 million. We provide services to people living in over 1,000 square miles of north Essex, as well as providing some specialist services to Suffolk, east Hertfordshire and south Essex.

The broad range of services and individual care we provide can be categorised around six groups of people – children and adolescents, young adults, acute adults, older adults, adults who misuse substances and adult rehabilitation.
